while a single object of unjust torment might easily overlook or forget a single unpleasant incident it is much more difficult to ignore many incidents alike in content, such that one in the least knows they are certainly related.
For the separate perpetrators of such acts, should they be plentiful---which I will call persecution, for they are no longer mere insinuations---while their individual acts might have seemed inconsequential to each of them, what they might not possibly have imagined is the effect a relentless series of such acts might have on another individual, unless of course that is the conspired result; but either amount to violence regardless. It is as if each perpetrator were an artillery gunner unaware on the one hand that elsewhere and circumscribing the target were other artillery units firing at the same target; or on the other hand they each found and shared satisfaction in their combined ulteriorly un-relatable tactics, such that their sole acts were no longer harmless warning shots to scare off an intruder but collaboration in the lethal shelling of a non-combatant victim.
